I’m Walker Stone, a Huntsville native and Alabama-registered architect. When you work with the practice, you work directly with me.

I grew up in Huntsville’s Blossomwood neighborhood and earned my Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University. My experience includes work in Stuttgart, Germany, and the San Francisco Bay Area, across residential, commercial, institutional, and retail projects.
Working with both new and existing buildings gave me a foundation in design, technical detailing, permitting, and consultant coordination.
After returning to North Alabama, and before starting this practice, I led development, design, permitting, and construction delivery for more than 340,000 square feet of commercial real estate in Huntsville and Athens.
My hands-on background in residential construction, historic preservation, estimating, and material procurement still shapes how I approach the work. I consider the people building a project as well as the people who will use it.
